One of the hottest TV producers to hit the music video scene since NVTV, Stevie Groovie is undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with. Music video producers from all corners of the universe have been attempting to get on her show with limited success. Her tastes are very refined, and she is easily turned off by substandard videos and rude salespeople who blab on with their high falutin' flattery. For those who make the right videos and treat her with some respect though, she can be a source of generous funding. Some music video directors have made millions just from getting a series of videos to air on her late night show. Recently, she has been making contact with adventurous directors that have travelled into the deep reaches of the dreaded Distortion Dimension, risking their lives to make the ultimate video. The footage that has been coming back has been most intruiging, and there is hope that some day soon, the next big hit video may come from there. So far, no body has returned home, but Stevie recently quipped in an exclusive Ripping Bone Magazine interview, "I think if some of these amateurs can figure out how to integrate the excellent footage they've been capturing and plug in some of the local talents' music, we may have something new to dominate the charts back here in our own Earthbound dimension."
When asked about her key competition, producers Yuji Dude and Hans Kranger, she tactfully responded, "They are good at what they do, and serve their own unique little market niches, but my show is still much better. I wish them luck, and hope I don't run them out of business. Our mutual goal is to make the whole music video market grow, to the point that just about any Joe Blow off the streets can make videos, and then its all a matter of getting the biggest slice of the pie that we can. But, again, it's all about making that pie a lot bigger, then we can all be happy."
